Overseeing the workflow between both workshops is our new Ops Manager, Opura Rima, who has over 30 years’ experience in the Heavy Transport Industry.

Whilst much of his time has been in Customer Services and Sales (he's worked at Transpecs, Palfinger NZ, and Transport Hydraulics Solutions), Opura also spent ten years as the Sales Manager at OTEL (Onehunga Transport Engineering) where his responsibilities included managing daily operations. Fortunately for us, Opura was contemplating a change when we advertised for an Operations Manager.

When he's not hard at work, Opura and the family are making the most of Northland's awesome fishing spots. He also enjoys watching rugby and league. As a recent arrival he's still backing his beloved North Harbour but we're sure, given time, he'll see the light and switch his allegiance to the mighty Taniwhas.
