We recently joined other local businesses to sponsor a Charity Golf Tournament to raise funds for Soul Food Whangarei.

A registered charity, Soul Food is run by volunteers Rochelle and Chris who, together with other generous people, gather twice weekly at the Anglican Hall on Kamo Road to prepare meals for the homeless community of Whangarei.

The Hikurangi Rugby Club also benefitted from the sales of on-course catering and refreshments sold throughout the day.

The tournament was well supported with 25 teams entered on the day including three teams from Ten4. Our teams captained by Glenn Scole, Vicki & Paul Christie.

The ladies team can claim bragging rights after winning a number of prizes based on their golfing prowess were lucky to win a few spot prizes.
